The Right Approach works on 3 aspects - The right nutrition(diet), right exercise(home based and simple ones) and the right products (effective and safe supplements)

One thing I like about this weight management programme is that I need not starve!  Just need to ensure that, I have a balanced meal with WIDE variety of food (sounds good huh!)

What's a balanced meal????? I am using this 3333 Diet as a guide:

3 x palm size of fruits, 3 x palm size of vegetables a day

3 x fist size of low protein (lean meat) a day

3 x half closed palm size of whole grains (e.g. noodle, rice, bread) a day; and

Small amount of fats and oil...(ring of the OK sign)

Looks challenging...I'm keeping a food diary (provided by the programme) to monitor what I eat each day and identify the culprit that has been generously providing so much fats to my body.

Its all about habits...I'm still enjoying my food  but i realise that I'm more selective these days....One major achievement - I can now complete the day without snacking...haha dun try to tempt me ya!!!!!  but no harm going for tea or coffee once in a while ..heehee

Are tomatoes fruits or a vegetables?
Small  tomatoes that we can snack are fruits,
while the bigger ones that we used for main meals are classified as vegetables..

Friends have been telling that I'm expanding horizontally.  Did not realise that until, I put myself on a Weight & Body Composition Scale.  The moment of truth:

(a) Weight: 78.7kg
(b) BMI : 24.8  (which is OVERWEIGHT for Asians)
(c) % Body Fat : 26.8% (OVER FAT Level for a man!)
(d) Visceral Fat (Abdominal Fat) : 9 High end of the normal risk
This measure the fat surrounds the vital organs around the abdominal area. Higher the no. increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

Took the measurement on my waist, abdominal and hip and its 94cm, 88cm, 94 cm respectively.

 

Oh boy, oh boy! numbers dun lie ya.  I decided to take up a programme that provides The Right Approach to weight management!  I gonna go from A to I, fAt to fIt!
